Tsilivi
Water park
Situated
on the east coast of Zante, within the resort of Tsilivi, this new
water park (opened in May 2010), is attached to the Planos Bay hotel,
and is free for guests to use. It is also open to the public daily,
opening from 10am to 6pm during the summer months.
There are two entrance fees, one full day, and one half day. During
summer 2010 this was 16 euro’s for adults and half price for
children under 12 for a full day. Included in the price of the full
day entrance fee is a snack at lunchtime in the cafeteria which
consists of a slice of pizza, a burger or similar.
Attractions
at the water park include a Black Hole, Space bowl, Turbolance,
a four lane multi racer, body slide and an aqua tube. For the younger
children, there is a pirate ship with slides, and a variety of animal
shaped slides and sprays within a child-friendly pool. There is
also a large lazy river with inflatables for 1 or 2 people to share.
There are plenty of sunbeds all around the park.
There
is a photographer on site daily, the photos taken are on display
in the park and are available to purchase and collect on departure.
Water
Village, Sarakinado.
This water park is situated on the south east of the island, 4 kilometres
from Zante town in the village of Sarakinado.
It
is open from May to October, daily 10am till 5.30pm (6pm during
July and August).
There
are transfers to the park from the major resorts with various local
travel agencies daily.
Water
attractions include a superbowl, boomerango, kamikaze slide, hydro
tube, giant body slides, rafting, mat racer, freefall plus, racer
slides, black hole, 300m long lazy river, large Jacuzzi, baby pool,
spray games.
Other
facilities at the park include go kart racers, mini golf, mini cars,
trampolines, photo shop, souvenir shop, cafeterias and bars.
